In March of 1954 my father, Larry Nobel, opened a full service bicycle and hobby shop in the heart of suburban Bloomfield. N.J. Quality bicycles and personal service is why those original customers and their families and friends around the community still support our shop after 50+ years. We continue to grow and change with the industry as well as the needs of our community, yet we also hold on to that old school work ethic and our customers know that. Service is what sells.
Most repairs are done same day or on the spot (especially tire & tube repair). We keep a large inventory of the most popular bikes which makes it easier for a customer to pick out, be properly fitted for, test ride and purchase the proper bike for them. 3 generations of customers have purchased from Brookdale Cycle Inc in this way, and we believe our service is second to none.
